Established in 2002, the Missouri City Juneteenth Celebration Foundation (MCJCF), a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization, recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of African-Americans. A scholarship fund was established to assist students continue their education beyond high school. Proceeds from the golf outing help fund the club’s annual operating expenses and future scholarship awards for deserving students locally. These students have attended colleges and universities throughout the country, including Baylor University, Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M University, Stephen F. Austin University, University of Missouri – Columbia, the University of Houston, and the University of Texas to mention a few!
