HABJ Student Mentorship Breakfast

The 2025 HABJ Student Mentorship Breakfast was a resounding success, and Pagegirl101 Solutions is proud to have played a vital role in its execution. As the creative force behind the event’s theme, branding, and marketing materials, we worked closely with HABJ to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for attendees. In addition to developing the event’s visual identity, Pagegirl101 set up the registration system, enabling HABJ to accurately track attendees, their college affiliations, and their zip codes. This data will be instrumental in compiling HABJ’s end-of-year impact report, highlighting the organization’s reach and effectiveness in fostering mentorship opportunities for aspiring media professionals.

To enhance the event experience, Pagegirl101 also designed directional signage, ensuring smooth navigation for attendees, and created visually engaging on-screen display artwork showcased behind each panel discussion. These elements helped maintain a professional and immersive atmosphere throughout the event.

With over 50 college students eager to gain industry insights, the mentorship breakfast featured three dynamic panel discussions: From the Classroom to the Newsroom, Radio and Entertainment, and PR: Getting the Story into the Community. Held at the Houston Chronicle, one of HABJ’s valued partners, and presented by H-E-B and Pacific Railroad, the event provided students with invaluable access to seasoned media professionals who shared their expertise, answered questions, and offered career guidance.

Having partnered with HABJ for over two years, Pagegirl101 Solutions remains committed to enhancing the impact of events like this by delivering strategic branding, marketing, and logistical solutions. Witnessing the success of the mentorship breakfast reaffirms our dedication to empowering organizations that uplift future media leaders and strengthen community connections.
